Iago Camilo

With an international law and intellectual property background, Iago’s main professional experience has been gained in Brazil and China. He worked as an intellectual property lawyer assisting clients and international businesses in the music, entertainment, audiovisual, technology, and cross-border commercial sectors. Iago studied Law at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and has also been active in Russia, Germany, and China.

Iago joined Equasia in 2024, where he provides strategic solutions in the intellectual property field, technology and support in international matters. He holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Tongji University in cooperation with WIPO, where he was selected as a WIPO scholar. Iago has also been continuously dedicated to advancing his expertise in matters related to intellectual property, technology, digital governance, and emerging regulatory developments.

He is a volunteer member of the Observa China platform, serves on the Board of the SICIP Alumni Association of Tongji University, and is a member of the Council of Brazilian Citizens in Shanghai.
